Dual Laddersafe

As an addition to the existing Premier LadderSafe Platform range, the Dual Access Platform is now available which provides access both up and over elevated structures, walls or pile caps. The platform is compatible with both our Tuffsteel Ladders and StepSafe site stairway and is accessible from both sides.

Ladder or StepSafe access to both sides of the excavation
Ladders can be mounted left or right within the hoop
Robust clamping system for PCC walls or similar walls up to 600mm wide
Central self-closing gate
Safety hoops can be stowed away directly in the mountings
Option to bolt down to the wall

The platform sits astride the structure and firmly clamped in position by adjustable clamps either side. The range of adjustment is 0 to 600mm, plus the option to bolt-down into the wall via two side brackets if necessary.

Premier LadderSafe

Premier LadderSafe is a heavy duty, temporary, gated access platform which uses a conventional ladder to allow access or egress for medium-depth excavations typically up to 6m deep. Pole ladders are supplied separately.

Manhole Box

Manhole boxes are similar to trench boxes in their basic function, but they incorporate integral end return panels for extra ground support when placing pre-cast manhole rings, as an alternative to sheets and frames. There are five available sizes catering to common manhole ring sizes. They can be quickly assembled and installed without an operator needing to enter the unsupported excavation, supporting trenches up to 5.5m using the base module and various struts. Ideal for most ground conditions.

StepSafe

StepSafe is a temporary, self-levelling, site stairway system that provides a quick and safe method of access/ egress to excavations, chambers and tanks or for negotiating slopes and embankments. The system operates in conjunction with Groundforce’s Premier LadderSafe platform and the specific function of the unit is to provide controlled access to and from the work place, at a fixed point, when conventional ladders are impractical.
