The Super Mega Brace is a high load capacity modular hydraulic bracing system designed to support square, rectangular or multi-sided excavations ranging from 4.7m to 24.2m in plan. Each leg comprises a length adjustable hydraulic unit, a series of modular fixed length extension pieces and a telescopic pinned rough adjuster unit.

MP750 Hydraulic Strut

The MP750 is a high load capacity strut and is capable of resisting design loads up to 11,000kN.  The strut consists of a central low pressure hydraulic ram unit with a 500mm stroke for fine length adjustment on site. Once installed, load is resisted by a twin screw mechanical locking system. The unit also incorporates an advanced high pressure hydraulic nut system to aid installation, high level pre-stressing (if required) and subsequent removal of the strut under residual load.

Integral hydraulic nuts acting directly behind the locking screws offer the ability to both pre-load the MP750 strut to a high level on installation, as well as providing a safe and controlled means of releasing the strut under residual load.

Senceive Wireless Data Monitoring

Groundforce have partnered with the world leaders in wireless data monitoring Senceive. This system simplifies real time measurement of static loads and monitors potential movements. This new system known as FlatMesh™ from Senceive, uses wireless nodes with the Groundforce load pins, which pass their signal from one to another. This therefore means that one of the nodes needs to have clear contact with the 3G gateway module, in order for all readings to be taken.

The MP375 is a modular format heavy-duty hydraulically activated strut consisting of a hydraulic ram unit with a 1300mm stroke for fine length adjustment. For higher load and/or longer span applications, it is possible to combine the hydraulic unit with extension pieces using appropriate adaptor components. Swivel end bearing units allow for various strutting alignments within an excavation with or without waling beams.
