Groundforce has taken its long-standing relationship with Scottish Water to new heights by successfully being appointed as a framework supplier for the hire of trenching and shoring equipment over an initial 5 year period.
Covering the whole of Scotland the 5 year framework with six 12-month extension options, builds on Groundforce’s involvement with Scottish Water on a wide range of projects over the last several years including the Glasgow UID Program to the ongoing £250 million Shieldhall Strategic Tunnel project. The five-year scheme is the biggest investment in greater Glasgow’s waste water network since Victorian times, designed to handle increased rainwater flows and improve water quality in the River Clyde and its tributaries.
