Groundforce have sponsored the Welsh National Youth Fly Fishing team in their bid to become winners in the four nations Youth Fly Fishing Championships. The competition took place on the 31st July 2019 on the Lake of Menteith in Scotland.
Their invitation to enter the four nations tournament comes hot on the heels of the team’s recent outstanding performance in the Welsh National Fly Fishing Trial which was organised by the Welsh Salmon and Trout Angling Association.
Groundforce were approached following a request from a customer based in Colwyn Bay, North Wales. Groundforce’s offer of sponsorship will help secure the financial backing required for the team to represent their country at this level and we hope that this funding will enable the young squad to build on their previous success. The team achieved a credible 3rd place in the competition with over 52 fish caught. We wish them all continued success in their Fly Fishing endeavours.
