Significant contract wins for Groundforce

Groundforce Scotland has amassed an impressive portfolio of new and existing clients, having supplied equipment to some of the most significant projects in Scotland. Its well established relationship with Scottish Water has seen it provide trenching and shoring equipment for the Glasgow UID program as well as for the £250m Shieldhall Strategic Tunnel project. Contract wins of this calibre underline the confidence that one of the UK’s major utilities provider has in Groundforce as a knowledgeable and reliable supplier.

Groundforce’s recent involvement in Edinburgh’s Capital Square development highlighted the importance of early consultation at the design stage. Located in the heart of the city, this marked the largest ever speculative office development in Edinburgh and transport management alone would be a key factor. Groundforce designed a propping solution to accommodate an irregular shaped excavation which maintained minimal deflection to surrounding buildings and infrastructure; a challenging, yet essential factor in delivering a successful outcome. This scheme is a prime example of Groundforce’s ability to take a project seamlessly from initial enquiry through to design, commission and project completion.
