Groundforce to exhibit at Solscope in France

30 Apr

Groundforce will be exhibiting at France’s leading bi-annual geo-technical exhibition Solscope, which takes place at the Eurexpo Exhibition Centre in Lyon on the 24th and 25th of June.

The two-day event which includes a conference program, workshops and exhibitors, attracts visitors from across many of Europe’s leading consultants, contractors, distributors and manufacturers, working within the ground engineering sector.

This is this first time the company has exhibited in France and is part of their long term plan to develop a pan European business, having already successfully established itself in Germany as well as working on major projects in Norway, Switzerland and currently in Italy.

Peter Richardson, Groundforce’s Director of Major Projects, Europe said:

“Our focus at the exhibition will be on showcasing our comprehensive range of MP, mechanical and hydraulic struts - presenting and discussing the advantages of using our modular systems over fabricated steel, which is still very popular in France.”

Simon Littlewood Managing Director of Groundforce added:

“We plan to invest in and develop our Modular Hydraulic Excavation Support Systems business in Europe over the next three years. As market leader in the UK, the technology has been developed and used over the last 30 years, with increasing interest from a number of other countries across Europe. France represents a key growth opportunity and having just successfully completed our first underground basement project in Paris, we are keen to develop its market presence further.”
